Friday Game Night

The official end of the regular season for many teams in the GHSA and GISA is not until Nov. 8 with the movement of dozens of game because of Hurricane Helene. But for the 26 teams in the AccessWDUN Sports coverage area, the end for a lot of teams came on Friday night.

Despite trailing in the fourth quarter, Lumpkin County did just enough to hold off Pickens Friday night, 29-26.

North Hall’s defense held Dawson County to 135 yards of offense en route to a 35-3 win at The Brickyard on Friday.

East Forsyth is in the playoffs after taking down Madison County Friday night, 42-14.

Flowery Branch secured the final playoff spot from Region 8-4A with a 21-7 road win over Cedar Shoals on Friday.

West Hall mounted a major comeback, but ultimately fell to Monroe Area, 31-21.

North Forsyth ended the season Friday night with a 44-20 win over Forsyth Central in Raider Valley.

Rabun County couldn't complete the comeback Friday night as they fell to Elbert County, 28-21.

Commerce amassed over 550 rushing yards in a 55-23 beatdown of Providence Christian Friday night.

White County finished off their season with a 47-6 win over Johnson Friday night.
