Football: Roquemore steps down as JHS head coach
Jason Roquemore has stepped down as Johnson High School football coach according to JHS athletic director Johnathan Edwards Monday morning. Roquemore led the Knights for seven seasons, finishing his career at Johnson with a 16–54 record.

Basketball playoffs: Lady Trojans fall in the Class 3A playoffs
The Lady Trojans expected to leave Hart County with a ticket to the Class 3A quarterfinals, but Hart County's Torrion Starks and Taniya Alexander had different plans. The two Lady Dogs combined for 49 points to knocked off North Hall 73-66 in the second round of the Class 3A playoffs.

Dawson County’s Kaylee Sticker has the ability to take over a game. She did just that Friday night against No. 2 seed Coahulla Creek in the first round of the Class 3A state tournament, scoring a game-high 32 points in a 71-60 win.
