The event will benefit the Habersham County Senior Center and Meals on Wheels.

The program will be held at the Forsyth County Public Safety Complex from June 19-23.

According to a release from the Georgia State Patrol, Elizabeth Jordan Morgan crashed her SUV just after 2:30 a.m. traveling north on Persimmon Road.

The scholarship allows William Morris to study in Romania and Bulgaria for nine months.

Since its inception in 2003, the program has graduated 959 participants.
