Census bus brings fun, information to Gainesville
The message was "get ready, the Census is here, it’s time to get counted," as around 1,000 people came out for the 2010 Portrait of Hall County event Saturday afternoon.

Rainy route for Palm Sunday immigrant 'pilgrims'
The pilgrimage for immigrants held on a rainy Palm Sunday in Gainesville began at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church Pastoral Center off Shallowford Road and because of that rain ended in a shopping center parking lot on Atlanta Highway.
