Single-service and single-use articles and cleaned and sanitized utensils shall be handled, displayed, and dispensed so that contamination of food-and lip-contact surfaces is prevented. 3. Except as specified under paragraph 2 of this subsection, single-service articles that are intended for food- or lip-contact shall be furnished for consumer self-service with the original individual wrapper intact or from an approved dispenser. Corrective Actions: Manager arranged utensils so that handles were facing up preventing contamination of food and lip-contact surface. 14C - single-use/single-service articles: properly stored, used 511-6-1.05(10)(e)1&3 - single-service/single-use items stored 6" off floor in clean, dry location (c) Points: 1 Corrected during inspection?: Yes Repeat: No Inspector Notes: Single use articles and/or single service articles (to-go boxes and cup lids) are not being kept in the original protective package or are not being stored by using other means that afford protection form contamination until they are used. Single-service and single-use articles shall be kept in the original protective package or stored by using other means that afford protection from contamination until used. Corrective Actions: Manager turned to-go boxes and cup lids over so they are stored inverted to prevent overhead contamination. 17A - toilet facilities: properly constructed, supplied, cleaned 511-6-1.06(5)(h) - toilet room receptacle, covered (c) Points: 1 Corrected during inspection?: No Repeat: No Inspector Notes: Observed waste receptacles in women's restroom without covers. A toilet room used by females shall be provided with a covered receptacle for sanitary napkins. Note: Manager will obtain covers for waste receptacles in women's restroom.
