ATHENS - The sixth-seeded Georgia Bulldogs will play against the third-seeded Washington Huskies in the fourth game of opening day at the 2010 Women's College World Series on Thursday at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.

The 2010 WCWS will feature four games on Thursday with all eight participating teams in action. Thursday's first session will feature ninth-seeded Missouri (51-11) and 16th-seeded Hawaii (49-14) at 1 p.m. ET on followed by fourth-seeded Florida (48-8) and fifth-seeded UCLA (45-11) at 3:30 p.m.

The second session begins at 7 p.m. with 10th-seeded Arizona (48-11) and 15th-seeded Tennessee (47-13). Georgia (48-11) and defending national champion Washington (50-7) will then cap the first day of play in the WCWS at 9:30 p.m.

Thursday's opening session, games one and two, will be carried on ESPN/ESPN3.com with Pam Ward and Michele Smith calling the action, and the second session, games two and three, will air on ESPN2/ESPN3.com with Beth Mowins and Jessica Mendoza providing the commentary. Holly Rowe will report from the field for all games.

The Bulldogs will make the trip to Oklahoma City on Tuesday. On Wednesday, each team will go through scheduled press conferences and practice sessions at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in preparation for the WCWS, which starts Thursday and runs through June 9.

Georgia will be making its second trip to the WCWS having made the program's initial appearance in 2009, when the Bulldogs advanced to be one of the final four teams remaining. Georgia opened last year's series against Washington, falling 3-1.

The Bulldogs then advanced through the loser's bracket with a 5-2 win over Missouri and a 7-5 defeat of Michigan to set up a second contest with the Huskies. Georgia then defeated Washington, 9-8, in nine innings before the Huskies turned around and won a third-game between the schools, 9-3.

UGA's win over Washington was the Huskies only defeat at the 2009 WCWS as they went on to defeat Florida in the national championship series.
