GAINESVIOLLE -- The Gainesville Gladiators Adult Minor League football team won the Deep South Football League Championship this past Saturday by defeating the Chattanooga Steam 24-13.
It was the first championship for the organization.
In addition, the Gladiators Mo Issak was named league Offensive MVP and Gladiator Bo Harris (a former Auburn standout) was named league Defensive MVP.
Nate Stephens was named the DSFL Coach of the Year.
