Vendors, exhibitors and hobbyists who enjoy participating in festivals are invited to display their wares at the Lavonia Spring Festival which will be held May 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the downtown business district.
Organizers say the festival continues to grow in size and appeal, drawing folks from all over Northeast Georgia and upstate South Carolina. Visitors also will be attracted to the Lavonia Festival by new specialty shops which have opened in the past year. One features yarn, clothing and décor items from alpaca fibers and another is a gourmet coffee and pastry shop.
The deadline for on-time applications for food vendors is April 26. On-time applications for all other vendors are due April 27. A $15 late fee will apply to all applications received after due dates and space will be assigned as available.
A single 10x10-foot space without electricity is $50; with electricity is $60. A double 10x20-foot space without electricity is $80 and with electricity is $100.
