GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The Lakeview Academy boys soccer team beat Lanier Christian 5-1 on Thursday at home.
Mario Patino scored two goals and Heath Booker and Liam Weidner each had a goal and an assist for the Lions (7-4-1). Jay Dave had a goal, and Bryan Ramsey had an assist for Lakeview.
William Harrison got the win in goal.

The Lady Lightning put in a solid performance in a road win on Thursday.
Sophomore Lauren Johnson found the net twice, and five other players scored. Eva Seidel, Lydia Johnson, Aralyn Hohman, Ashyr Dingfelder, and Bella Shoaf all had one goal for LCA.
LCA (9-2) takes on Cherokee Christian on Friday.
