RUMFORD, R.I. — Bartley Forrester finished tied for 14th after the final round of the at the 61st Northeast Amateur Invitational on Saturday at Wannamoisett Country Club.
Forrester closed out the four-day event with a 2-over 71 to finish at even par for the tournament.
It was a tough finish for the former North Hall and current Georgia Tech standout, who led the tournament after Wednesday’s opening round. Forrester posted a 7-under 62 but could not keep it going.
He fell to a tie for 11th after Friday’s third round following rounds of 73 on 70 on Thursday and Friday.
