Church's chicken to franchise restaurants in 19 African countries

ATLANTA - AFC Enterprises Incorporated said today it has signed a franchising agreement to open 100 Church&#39;s Chicken restaurants in 19 African countries by 2007. The first is scheduled to open in April in South Africa. <br> <br> The restaurants will be operated by South African-based Steers Holdings, Jersey Limited, which has more than 450 restaurants across the continent. <br> <br> Church&#39;s has more than 1,500 locations worldwide. AFC Enterprises also operates Seattle&#39;s Best Coffee, Cinnabon, Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits and Torrefazione Italia coffee.
