ATHENS - The Lady Bulldogs play host to Morris Brown Monday night at Stegeman Coliseum. The Wolverines are two and nine. They haven't played since December 22, but they have been running two-a-day practices during the break.
Coach Saudia Roundtree played for Georgia, so she says it will be hard to go up against her alma mater. She says, ``I still bleed red and black.''
While playing for Georgia, the now 27-year-old Roundtree was named 1996 SEC player of the year and national collegiate player of the year. She still holds a school record for single season assists (226) and career average assists (6.4).
The Lady Bulldogs are currently number eight. Roundtree says coach Andy Landers is still her mentor.
