Tech has last tuneup before hitting ACC schedule

ATLANTA - Georgia Tech has its final tuneup before hitting the meat of the conference schedule Wednesday night when the Yellow Jackets take on Cornell in Atlanta.

The Yellow Jackets hope to rebound from a disappointing loss to IUPUI. Tech fell to the obscure Indianapolis school 98-92 on Saturday night.

The loss was part of an up-and-down start to the season for the Yellow Jackets, who beat then-No. 18 Syracuse on December 16th to begin a three-game winning streak but have since lost two in a row.

A win tonight would even the Jackets' record at 7-7 heading into the bulk of its ACC schedule Saturday night at home against Clemson.

The Yellow Jackets lost to North Carolina 83-77 in their first conference game.
