GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Grand Jury wants new efforts aimed at aiding non-English speaking callers who phone 911.

The November term of the grand jury, in its presentments, said "We are concerned about response time of 911 calls due to non-English speaking callers." Jurors went on to suggest that "provisions be made at the 911 center to aid non-English speaking callers in understanding the transition to the language line."

The grand jury also returned 85 bills of indictment while no-billing four cases presented it.
