Jefferson museum gets federal grant

WASHINGTON - Two Georgia institutions, one of them the Crawford Long Medical Museum in Jefferson, are among 284 museums and libraries recently receiving federal grants.<br> <br> The $6,500 is from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and is designed to help museums and libraries &#34;conserve their collections and improve their operations.&#34;<br> <br> The Crawford Long museum is getting $65-hundred; the other Georgia institution benefiting from the grants is the Okefenokee Heritage Center in Waycross.
