More suits against Habersham Sheriff's Department?

CLARKESVILLE - The Northeast Georgian reports that county officials have been served with four "notices of intent" to sue.

Two women - one from Stephens County, the other from Habersham - have already filed suits in U.S. District Court in Gainesville.

The two women allege they were victims of illegal strip searches by sheriff's department personnel in Habersham County.

Each of the suit seeks $2 million in damages.
