Memorial for slain teen

GAINESVILLE - Friends and family of a Gainesville teenager who was found murdered in Gwinnett County three years ago gathered at her gravesite Sunday night to remember her. <br> <br> Elaine Nix&#39;s body was found in a Gwinnett County industrial park several days after she disappeared September 21 1999. Nix, who was 18 at the time, was last seen talking with her boyfriend on a pay phone at a Candler Road convenience store. <br> <br> Rewards have been offered in the case but so far no arrests have been made. For weeks, fliers bearing Nix&#39;s picture and information about the case remained in store windows and on utilitiy poles around Gainesville as friends and family continued to seek answers. <br> <br> Sunday night&#39;s memorial was held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
