GAINESVILLE - New Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank wants the team to move its pre-season training camp to Hall County.

Falcons Vice President for Corporate Development Tommy Nobis says it would increase the team's economic impact on the area.

"We'll have hundreds here," Nobis told the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Thursday. "We'll have over 1,000 or 2,000 people, depending on what's going on (any given day) at practice."

Nobis also said Riverside Military Academy, and not just the Falcons' corporate and training headquarters, which are already located here, is being considered as a possible site for the pre-season camp.

"I think we are talking with (Colonel Mike Hughes) up at Riverside," Nobis said. "They have some tremendous facilities there that possibly could work for us."
