New chairman, vice-chair of hospital authority

GAINESVILLE - The Hospital Authority for Gainesville and Hall County, which oversees the operation of the Northeast Georgia Medical Center and its affiliates, ahs elected a new chairman and vice chairman.

James Brock is the new chairman and Joe Hatfield is the new vice chairman.

Brock is president of Crystal Farms and has been a member of the Hospital Authority since 1996. He previously served as vice chairman.

Hatfield is chairman and CEO of Fieldale Farms and has served on the Hospital Authority since 1980.
