Gainesville has new public works director

GAINESVILLE - Following a nationwide search, the city of Gainesville has a new Public Works Director.

City Manager Bryan Shuler says Perry Eisenach has been named to the post.

Eisenach most recently served as the Director of Public Works for North Point, Florida, and also has worked for cities in Colorado.

He replaces Chuck Langley resigned last fall to become Assistant Director of Public Utilities in West Palm Beach Florida.
