Burkett was currently serving as Chairman of the Board of the organization - and was well-known nationwide for his writings and radio broadcasts.
Christian Financial Concepts had merged several years ago with Crown Financial Ministries.
The organization's mission, as described on its web site, is "teaching people God's financial principles in order to know Christ more intimately and to be free to serve him."
Burkett died early Friday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
