Testimony begins in Gainesville murder trial

GAINESVILLE - Testimony began Tuesday in Hall County Superior Court in the murder trial of 45-year-old Mark Shackelford of Flowery Branch. <br> <br> Shackelford is charged with killing his brother, Mike Shackelford, who was also 45 at the time of his death in April of last year. <br> <br> The defense says Mark Shackelford attacked his older brother because his sibling had attacked him first. <br> <br> Witnesses Tuesday included the men&#39;s mother and other family members.
