JEFFERSON - An admitted double-murderer has been given life without parole in the deaths of a Jackson County couple who had befriended him.

David Hodges pleaded guilty to a number of charges - including murder, burglary, and robbery - in the Febraury 2002 shooting deaths of Sherry and Junior Brady.

The Bradys were found dead in their Jackson County home in which Hodges had been living while he worked for the couple at their construction company.

Prosecutors say Hodges - whose death penalty trial had been scheduled to begin later this month - killed the Bradys after they asked him to move out.
