West Hall needs win to keep pace in Region 7-AAA

GAINESVILLE - East Hall will travel to West Hall Tuesday in a key Region 7-AAA softball game.<br> <br> The Lady Spartans (11-7, 4-4) are just one game ahead of the Lady Vikings (7-10, 3-5) in the standings but would fall to sixth place with a loss. West hall advanced all the way to the Class AAA semifinals last year.<br> <br> North Hall (19-4, 7-0) will travel to White County, just two days before its much-anticipated showdown with Pickens County, who is also undefeated in region play.<br> <br> Third-place Flowery Branch (10-10, 5-2) will play host to Gilmer County.<br> <br> Chestatee (12-6, 4-2) and last year&#39;s region champion, sits in fourth place but is off Tuesday before traveling to Fannin County Thursday.<br> <br> Gainesville will play host to Johnson.
