Vikings rally comes up short against White County

RABBITTOWN - A furious rally by the East Hall girls softball fell just short Thursday night in a 3-2 Region 7-AAA loss to White County.<br>

Nicole Clay tossed a complete-game, 3-hitter for East Hall (7-10, 3-5) but several errors contributed to all three White County runs.<br>
<br>
The Lady Warriors (3-4 in the region) scored once in the first and twice more in the fifth.<br>
<br>
East Hall trailed 3-1 going into the seventh and had the tying run at second with one with could not get the runner in.<br>
<br>
"It just wasn't out night," East Hall coach Kevin Thomas said. "We couldn't hit the ball and we couldn't catch it very well either."<br>
<br>
Elise Patterson got the win for White County.<br>
<br>
Amber Dale and Megan Thompson had two of the East Hall hits. Dale drove in one run and scored another while Thompson scored once.
