Habersham rally falls short against Loganville

LOGANVILLE - The Habersham Central football team fell to 0-2 after a 30-17 loss to Logancville friday night.

The Raidersfell behind 7-3 early and it stayed that way until the second half.

Loganville opened up a 13 lead and was driving for another score when Habersham's Jurrell Holbrook forced a fumble and Nick Carter picked it up and ran it in for a tocuhdown to cut the lead to 13-10.

Habersham then recovered the ensuing on-side kick but fumbled on its next play.

After a Loganville touchdown made it 23-10, Habersham's Brett DeMore caught a TD pass to cut it to 23-17.

But when habersham attempted another onside kick, Loganville was ready and returned it 70-yards for a touchdown to put the game away.
