GAINESVILLE - East Hall beat Gilmer 7-2 Thursday to pick up its first Region 7-AAA softball win of the season.<br>

Allison Medlock had two and three RBIs to lead the Vikings attack.<br>
<br>
Nichole Clay earned the win for East Hall, who will take on rival Gainesville in the first round of the Lanier Point Fast Pitch Invitational Friday.
