Lumpkin school chief stepping down

DAHLONEGA - Lumpkin County School Superintendent David Luke is retiring.

Luke's career in education covers almost 40 years.

He has been in charge of Lumpkin County schools for nearly a decade.

Luke's retirement is effective at the end of the current school year.
