Case against alleged horse shooters sent to higher court

GAINESVILLE - A judge has ordered the case against two 18-year-olds, accused of shooting two horses last month, bound over to Hall County Superior Court.:

The ruling came following a probable cause hearing for Rodger Dale Pitts III of Clermont and Jared Blake Dillin of Gainesville.

The pair is accused of shooting the horses - one of whom died - December 13. The shootings occurred in the North Browning Bridge Road area.

The hearing was held in Hall County Magistrate Court.
