Gainesville says 'good-bye' to Fall Games

GAINESVILLE - After a three-year run in Gaineville, the state Special Olympics Fall Games ended Sunday.

This year's event began with opening ceremonies Friday night at the Chestatee High School stadium and concluded with several events in several venues around Hall County yesterday.

Thousands of athletes, families, volunteers and sponsors were in town for the event.
