GSO gets National Endowment grant

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville Symphony Orchestra has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

The orchestra, now in its 23rd year, announced the $10,000 grant Wednesday.

The National Endowment cited the GSO's "forward thinking approach to developing financial and programming constraints" in making the award.
