Forsyth tops in voting machines-to-voters ratio

ATLANTA - Forsyth County will have the lowest voting machine-to-voter ratio in the state for the November 2 elections.

State officials said Wednesday they have deployed 1,000 additional voting machines around the state in an effort to reduce lines at polls.

In addition, according to Thursday's Atlanta Journal-Constitution, some counties have opted to purchase even more machines with their own money.
