Gainesville video store robbed

GAINESVILLE - A robbery was reported Monday night at Blockbuster Video on Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville.

Gainesville Police Lt. Gary Entrekin says the robber entered the store about 10:40 and handed a clerk a noted demanding the money in the cash register. Lt. Entrekin says the note stated the man "was armed and did not want a confrontation."

Entrekin says the robber left with an undisclosed amount of money.
