Gainesville RR crossing closing

GAINESVILLE - A railroad crossing near the Gainesville airport is being permanently closed.
It's the Ruby Street crossing - between Atlanta Highway and Frances Avenue - and it will be permanently closed beginning Monday.
City officials say all traffic should begin using the new Palmour Drive Extension, instead.
That road was formally opened last week.
