Wayne Farms helping brighten holidays for seniors

OAKWOOD - Oakwood-based Wayne Farms and the Wesley Woods Center in Athens have teamed up to make the holidays a bit brighter for seniors in North Georgia.

They worked together to donate and distribute 900 holiday produce gift baskets to senior living homes and private homes around North Georgia.

The baskets, donated by Wayne Farms, each contained fresh citrus fruits, apples and an assortment of peanuts and tree nuts.
