New bank planned in Jackson County

UNDATED - On the heels of word of plans for another bank in Hall County, comes news of plans to open a new bank in the Braselton area.

Six Hall and Jackson County businessmen have filed applicaitons for approval of a charter for Hamilton State Bank.

They are William T. Caiaccio of Braselton, David H. Dye of Gainesville, James E. Hinshaw of Braselton, James D. Magnus of Flowery Branch, and, Robert C. Oliver of Braselton.

Temporary facilities will be located at 6323 Grand Hickory Dr. in Braselton. The permanent location will be 1908 Highway 211, Hoschton.

Recently, plans were revealed for establishment of First Naitonal Bank of Hall County which will be located at 311 Green Street near the offices of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.
