WASHINGTON - While much of the White House has been focused in recent days on increasing hostilities in Iraq and the work of the Nine-Eleven Commission, for an intern from Gainesville her job has dealt with something a bit more light-hearted.

Emily Lancaster's lastest assignment has been Easter At The White House.

And, she gets cutline credit on the White House Web site for taking photographs of each of the fifty hand-painted 2004 State Easter Eggs sent to Washington. Georgia's is from Sara Millard Muse of Perry. (See accompanying photo).

Lancaster has about one month left in her four-month internship.

Her dad, Joey Lancaster, says two weeks ago, she and another young lady in the White House photo office were assigned the job of photographing 80 foreign ambassadors, one at a time, with President and Mrs. Bush in the Red Room at the White House.

Lancaster's main job is to edit and release photos of President Bush to various news agencies and publications that request them.

She is a senior at North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega majoring in art marketing with an emphasis in photography.
