$60,000 federal grant okayed for North Georgia Tech

CLARKESVILLE - A $60,000 federal grant for has been approved for North Georgia Technical College in Clarkesville.

The Appalachian Regional Commission grant is to be used toward development of a second site for an agriculture program.

The program will provide technical instruction to high school and college students on the agriculture industry, as well as entrepreneurship training.
