GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Commission Monday is scheduled to consider a land sale, a traffic signal, and a transit system grant among other things when it meets for its regularly scheduled work session.

The land sale involves about 50 acres off Barber Road which the Gainesville-Hall County Development Authority wants to buy.

Also on the agenda is a report from the Public Works and Utilities Department on plans for a traffic signal at Friendship and Hog Mountain roads.

In addition, the commission will hear a report from the county's Grants Management Department on a federal grant application for Hall Area Transit.
