Jackson voters OK school bond referendum

JEFFERSON - Jackson County voters Tuesday approved a $70 million school bond referendum.
The vote was 886-749.
The money will be used to build a new high school and two new elementary schools in Jackson County. Additions and repairs are planned at other schools.
Voter turnout was 10 percent.
