CLEVELAND - With the November General Election now less than two months away, the League of Women Voters of White County is going an extra mile in order to boost voter turnout.

The league as part of a "Be Counted" campaign will set up shop at two supermarkets in Cleveland Saturday morning - Ingle's and IGA - asking people to sign a card pledging to vote in November.

League officials say people who sign the pledge will receive non-partisan voter information and a reminder just before the election.

League representatives will be at both places from 10:00-12:00.
