Habersham employee charged with smuggling pot into jail

CLARKESVILLE - A Habesham County 911 employee has beenarrested after allegedly smuggling marijuana into the county jail.

Authorities say the arrest was made after a jailer received a tip that a package was going to be placed in the visitation restroom.

The drugs were reportedly placed in a trash can in the restroom and found by a jail employoee who searched the room before and after the woman entered the restroom.
