GAINESVILLE - The search continued Monday for the man who robbed two employees of a north Gainesville store. They were robbed at gunpoint Sunday night and tied up with electrical tape.

Gainesville Police Lt. Gary Entrekin says the workers at the Family Dollar Store on Thompson Bridge Road were accosted about 11:00, shortly after the store closed for the day, by a man who had apparently hidden in the store.

Lt. Entrekin says one worker was confronted at the front of the store, tied up and told not to scream. The masked robber then approached another employee in another part of the store, forced her to hand over money and also tied her up before leaving through the back door.

Entrekin says both women were visibly shaken, but otherwise unharmed.

Police are looking for a black man, about 6'2", weighing around 275 pounds, who was wearing a dark jacket, red ski mask, red hat, gloves, and brown work boots.
