State Department of Transportation officials say, weather permitting, the signs will be installed March 15.
The only traffic control now at the intersection is a stop sign for motorists on 53.
District Engineer Russell McMurry said after a "detailed study" of traffic counts and patterns and accident data "we have determined this intersection warrants an all way stop."
The work will also include the installation of rumble strips on the approach to the intersection and two sets of new all-way stop warning signs.
