Sugar Hill school principal honored by state PTA

ATLANTA - The principal at Sugar Hill Elementary School in Gwinnett County has been selected one of the Georgia PTA&#39;s Most Appreciated Principals in the state. <br> <br> Sandra Levent and the others will be honored at the state PTA convention April 30.<br> <br> Local Unit PTA Presidents from all over the state nominated their principals to be an &#34;Outstanding Principal Award Recipient&#34;. A team of five state board members reviewed their reports to determine the final selection of the top ten principals whose work exemplified their dedication to students. <br> <br> The criterion of qualifications asked the following questions: Does the principal support policies that promote the Purposes of the PTA? Does the principal support programs that work to safeguard the health, safety, nutrition, welfare, protection and education of our children and youth? Does the principal encourage the use of the National PTA Standards for Parent and Family Involvement as a guide to engage parents and help children to be successful?
