Final day of school

GAINESVILLE - Friday is the final day of school for both the Gainesville and Hall County systems. And, graduation begins Friday night for the high schools in the county. <br> <br> Chestatee seniors - 165 of them - will pick up their diplomas at the Georgia Mountains Center. <br> <br> Graduation is also Friday night for Gainesville High seniors. There are 256 of them and their ceremony will be held in the school gym.<br> <br> Two ceremonies are planned Saturday - for East Hall and Flowery Branch, both at the mountains center.<br> <br> Graduation for three private schools in Gainesville and Hall County will also be held Saturday: Lakeview, with 35 graduates, at Lakewood Baptist Church; Maranata Christian Academy, with five seniors, at McEver Road Baptist Church; and, Brenau Academy, with 10 graduates, at Pearce Auditorium at Brenau University.
