Habersham receives $50,000 grant

CLARKESVILLE - Habersham County is the recipient of a $50,000 grant from the Office of Domestic Preparedness.

The money will be used for the purchase of terrorism response equipment - specifically communications equipment.

The Office of Domestic Preparedness is the principal component of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security responsible for preparing the United States for acts of terrorism.
