ATLANTA - An investigation into an escape attempt from Georgia's death row - involving a Hall County killer and two others - has yielded no arrests or disciplinary action, according to Monday's Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Officials believe David Scott Franks and the others got help stashing saw blades, knives, masks and other contraband in their cells.

The state Department of Corrections is refusing to release details of an internal investigation into the escape plan, which was uncovered last August by guards at the state prison in Jackson.

Franks is on death row for the 1994 stabbing death of Deborah Wilson of Gainesville.
