GAINESVILLE - The company which the City of Gainesville stopped from erecting two modular homes in a stick-built subdivision plans to pursue the matter in court.

CEO Grant Smereczynsky commented Wednesday, one day after the Gainesville Planning & Appeals Board rejected Building Systems Network's appeal of the "stop work" order for the houses on Waters Edge Drive in Waters Edge Subdivision.

Smereczynsky feels confident he's on firm legal footing in challenging the city - noting that his company secured its building permits in good faith and has had no problem locating industrialized housing alongside conventional housing elsewhere in the state.
