GC concert, fireworks postponed

OAKWOOD - Because of the rainy forecast, the annual Alumni Starlight Concert & Fireworks Show, scheduled Saturday night at Gainesville College has been postponed until Thursday. <br> <br> The Power Play Band of Atlanta, which performed last year, has been asked back to perform this year in the G.W. Bailey Amphitheater beginning at 6 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 with the fireworks show to begin at dark. <br> <br> There will be a $5 per car parking fee with proceeds benefiting the Gainesville College Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
